He's in a different market, not the USA.
Although Porsche says they are trying to "harmonize" their marketing efforts all across the globe, the USA branch (PCNA) always seems to be the ugly step-child of the group. Too little, too late.
Count your blessings that the prices in the USA are among the lowest (in real value) in the world.

I think you are correct because although not confirmed we were quoted 170K in Canada for the base 997tt and @ .90 to the US$ that is a substantial premium. then you add your options which in my case are 25K and then 14% for value added tax on top creates roughly $225,000.00 CDN or 202,500 USD. I'd say you guys are doing pretty good..:-)

Stuttgart knows best and I am sure you know how US dealers feel about that. Porsche headquarters has always treated their US dealers like peasants to be ordered about.

Call me a pedant, if you like, but while it may make you wet your pants, it wHets the appetite.
Comes from a whetstone, used for sharpening knives, which in turn comes from old German. The modern German for whetstone is "Wetzstein".
Oh, OK, we can get back to cars now.
