What part of the warranty would the plastic rear window fall under? Just wondering because the car is going to be at least 4 years old as MY02 was the last year for the plastic windows.

People have too much time to loose.
I remember I met a guy at my dealership, his clutch had to be exchanged at 37000 km or so. He asked me, pretty serious, if this is covered by the warranty.
Another one was pretty mad at Porsche because the rear tires had to be exchanged after 20000 km or so. I told this guy that I had the tires exchanged at 9000 km, he thought I'm crazy. And of course he asked the mechanic about the warranty...guess what the mechanic replied.
And finally, I remember one guy who had a broken gearbox on a 996, four years old and 60000 km. The warranty is 2 years in Germany. I'm not sure where I met him, if it was my dealership or at my favorite fuel station but apparently he was involved in a "letter fight" with Porsche since he wanted them to pay for the broken gearbox. Well, sh.t happens, even with a Porsche.

Well, there is that 10 year warranty against body panels rusting through.
