    This guy was lucky the "Werksschutz" didn't get him. The last two pictures were taken at Werk 1, which is sort of "off-limits" now for the public. BTW: Dr. Wiedeking has his office there.

    Great pics! The last two pics look like the cr was parked there on purpose for the nice pics in front of the stairs...

    actually like the 1st pic best!


    funny, looking at yellow with carbon brakes (how it flows) makes me wonder whether (my) red should stick with regular red brakes to keep lines flush, save some $$...

    Both buildings are in Zuffenhausen. I'm not sure but I think the grey concrete building with the parking lot can be seen from the S6 train line, shortly after the Neuwirtshaus-Porscheplatz station (if coming from downtown Stuttgart). It's just where they park new cars before loading them on the train to the harbor.
    The brick building is the original Porsche factory. It is no longer used for manufacturing, but Dr. Wiedeking's office is inside.

    The older brick building in the latter pics is Werk 1 or 2,--I picked up a car here many years ago. It was also the site of the customer racing department parts department. It's across the street from the 60s era assembly plant,--and next to the body shop where all the welding is done. The cars then go via overhead to the assembly building,--first to paint, then to dry, then on to assembly.

    Most of the top guys have their offices in the old brick building. Porsche used to be there, himself. At least I used to see his car of the month parked there.
