    XMZ Rear center console leather.

if i recall, you get two nice stitches that go down the center

    Re: 997TT order

Oh wow, that's great. I thought only the rear hummp between the rear seats will be leather with XMZ. Glad I got this option.

    Re: 997TT order

How do you get the 3d car configurator on the UK website to show up?
Maybe because I am on a mac?

    Re: 997TT order

The Rear Console in Leather/Exterior Color/Carbon/Wood is a misnomer. This part is between the front seats, not between the rear seats.

Here is an interior (BD997's) with the rear console painted in silver. Everything that's silver would be leather in your car, including the part you were asking about.

There is no option to make the hump between the rear seats in anything other than carpetting.

Note: the storage compartment that you see at the rear between the seats is leather in all cars. BUT it does not come with the dual stitching that comes with the XMZ option.
If you truly want an interior that flows well together, get the Exclusive option CPT: Storage Compartment Lid in Leather with Porsche Crest, which does have the dual stiching. There is a similar option with Carrera / Carrera S instead of the crest if you already put the crest on the seats .

I'm on a Mac too, and no luck either. The site uses Windows-specific instructions. I tried faking the Agent-ID (for the server to believe I'm using Internet Explorer on a PC), only to crash Shockwave and the browser.

    Re: 997TT order

That was my guess, oh well, it will work one day eventually.

    Re: 997TT order

Well for me it worked today for the first time! The only changes I made were the recent XP fixes. Which stopped everything else (Word, Excel) as well. Until I did a fix from the MS knowledge base....

Well almost works . It doesn't print.

Thanks groom for clarification. Hate the damn carpet hump. I am depressed now. CPT is already in my list.Later.

    Re: 997TT order

Pic of "Storage Compartment Lid in Leather with Porsche Crest", anyone??

i'm not big on the crest in headrest. frankly, i'm not into crest on anything, save the steering wheel. also considering a badge-delete on the rear. as if nobody knows what the car and model are already. and as if i have any need to be attracting any more attention. we pay porsche enough, don't see any reason to be advertising too!

i don't see the crest as 'classy' or tasteful, especially with the cab. just another logo in a world too full of 'em.

silverrules: i love the rear carpet hump. why the hate?? it's needed texture-functionality without too much glam~~

    Re: 997TT order

LA, Dont know, maybe its just me, but I just cant get used to the carpet in between the seats and on the doors. The carpet should be on the floor and sidwalls maybe.

One day, Auto-Union or MB (don't remember any more) had to leave a car unpainted to meet maximum weight regulations. Thus the Silver Arrows were born.

It was a Mercedes-Benz which was over-weight (some things never change ) and I think that, in fact, it was discovered the night before a major race. So they removed all the paint overnight, sanding the surface back to the bare (silver-colored) aluminum.
