MKGR looks like you are going to get your wish!!!
Give this baby 550 HP, a week of driver training, a good life insurance policy and MKSGR and I will both be happy

I Will be happy too!!!
the problem here in Greece is the taxes... in order to understand 996 GT2 costs 320.000 euros with Greek plates!!!
the new 997tt costs 190.000euros with no extras...
if porsche make it a little bit cheaper than the previous GT2 which was overpriced in my opinion i may think of buying too... This car will be THE BEST of all other cars for me...

What about buying and registering it in Cyprus? I think that's possible.
Yeh, but that divided island is not so very big, so put your foot down in a GT2 and you'd better start practising your Turkish.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
This thing is too gaudy and in your face. What happen to Porsche subtlety? You really have to be brash to drive a car like this. It makes the turbo seem tame.
Of course, it will be overpriced, too.

And I give the GT3 wheels on the GT2 at least a B+, although I'm still hoping for the older five-spoke setup ala the 993/996TT.

Hopefully the 997GT2 will be more put together than the 996 GT2 was, ie hope it has the lightness and firmness of what the GT3 has, and not the sloppy handling charactersitics of the softer 996 Turbo.
Did you ever actually drive the 996 GT2?

They mean $30k more, around $155k in the US.
The MSRP for the 2004 GT2 was $191,700. So this still can't be right.

I was asking myself the same thing. Especially the MkII is almost perfect in my opinion, a highly underestimated AND underrated car.
