SUPERCAR SHOOTOUT 06 (Real World)
I went on a ride this past sunday which was the first nice day of the season in this part of the world. It was a very enjoyable drive with the most varied collection of exotics that i have seen in one ride. We gathered at the garage of a nice and generous collector who enjoys showing his cars to other enthusiasts.
Once we were done looking we got out on the rural roads and had quite a bit of fun. Every red light and stop sign provided for a GP start. The sounds and sights were amazing. My 928 S2 more than held its own, never falling behind in acceleration to the new supercars and leaving most others in a cloud of dust including M5's, vettes, and 348's, 328's etc.
The custom exhaust on my V8 really lets out an incredible crackling growl as it gets up to 6000 rpm's and was quite a hit. The gallardo and CS at WOT realy sceamed as well. The ride included 430, 575, 550, 360CS, 360, 355, 348, 328, 308, mondial, M5, corvettes, Lambo Gallardo, and from Stuttgart 997C4, 996, 993, and the best my 928.
Traveling thru twisty forest roads under full acceleration was something and on the highway briefly everyone went for the front with the stradale screaming its way past many.
The collection in the little modest garage included yellow Enzo, yellow 430, white Ford GT, red F50, red 288 GTO, and red Daytona. What a nice day. Enjoy the pics taken by others there. My 928 is shown in the first ones and I am 5th in line on the road pic.
