Do you prefer that Porsche will launch a CS-type model (same power-lighter-same price) like 968CS or RS-type model (more power-lighter-more expensive) like 964RS???
I doubt Porsche will do it though. They seem afraid about hurting the 911's image as their best performing production car. A Cayman with those specs would show a 911 its taillights. Come on Porsche, surprise us and do it!
I don't doubt the superior weight distribution will make a Cayman very close to a 911 or superior in times. But the 911 has a more sophisticated rear suspension set-up as well offering better wheel control so it may not be as straightforward as dropping in the power plant and showing the taillights....
But a 987RS would be a super car. I wonder how much they could charge for it if it were faster than a Carrera S?

Thanks! I really like it, but I know some people who really hate it - it's a very personal choice. I actually flew to Texas to buy this car for its color combo (same as the Silver-Blue with Red interior 550 Spyders from the early 1950's - James Dean, etc.).
