I did not think I would like it when I saw the sample or first photoshops , but I actually like it a lot The RS is mean looking enough with it's details to be able to cope with this very soft and gentle color .

Yes, that would be great . These look like the perfect size . I have seen them on other cars, but sometimes they looked too big, or too straight

pmarkow:the color choice for the gt3rs is very difficult for me. i just don't get around the salmon and the milka, so only white and gt silver remain for me. but silver is another two months wait....so white it will be. need to add some decals though.
merry xmas!!!!!

Taste is obviously different from person to person, but now I have seen the RS live in Lava, Milka, Silver and White. Of the two you like I Initially liked the white as it draws out the details of the car, but I would say it needs some decals to really come to life. After having seen them both a number of times my favorite is the silver. It is less flashy but very elegant, and I would think that in the long run this is the color I would like to have, if I was not going PTS. Depending on delivery you should really consider silver, especially as you cannot really use the car until early May due to the weather in UK.
Westview:Rumours on McLife indicate that Porsche is increasing production of the GT3 RS to 6,000 units. Any truth to it?
That sounds like a large number. What was the previous limit (or currently produced number of cars)?

6000 cars!!!!! you are serious?
It was not me...check out the McLaren Life forum under other cars. It seems ridiculous, but someone there purportedly is friends with a Porsche factory driver and is making the claim. The original plan was to produce 2,000 units, so to triple production is more than a little suspicious...

I only heard that Porsche is trying to satisfy all (serious) demands, whatever this means. The car isn't limited, so I see no problem here.

I heard similar information , between 4 to 5000 units for the GT3 RS and around 4000 for the Cayman GT4 . They are great cars but not investment grade. I think speculators will have their hands burnt here.
In France i Know Many Guys who want an RS, imposible to get one and no second allocations. If PORSCHE make 4000 or 5000 cars is more than the 997 rs etc... And Many people can have one...actually the demand is high and of it have more cars no problèm to get one. I really doubt of 4 -5000 cars. Imposible for me and Whats the source of this information? A Guy who Know a Guy who Know...
