    Lamborghini Huracan Zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds

    If the numbers are from a real test and not an estimate baby Lambo will be faster then the big brother.

    The reviews are trickling in, and the latest to get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan is Car and Driver. Unsurprisingly, the V10-powered wedge receives a glowing report – it’s certainly worth a read – but amongst the superlatives is a tidbit of information that piqued our interest. CD claims the Huracan races from zero to 60 mph quicker than the daddy of Sant’Agata, the Aventador. The time? A blistering 2.5 seconds.

    I hope I am not the only one questioning this figure of 2.5    As it is a lot faster than 650S/ 991TTS...  and its in the range of 918/P1....  I must say there might be something wrong with their test....  However, I couldn't find any artical from Car&Driver stated this report....

    C&D is always too optimistic. 3 or slightly under is probably achievable, but 2.5, seriously?

    Car & Driver always I believe use a very very grippy drag racing track when they test for these numbers. Not something you are going to be able to reproduce in real life very often...

    who cares ?....how often are these types of cars lined up at the dragstrip side by side with a built '67 Chevy Nova that would put them all in the weeds ?

    low 0-60 numbers are so easy now with launch controlled optimized gearing  jillion speed autoboxes that there are scores of cars doing it under 4 seconds, many being 4500 lb luxo barges  with turbos and AWD, even if shaped like a brick ...a 9 year old girl on vacation with her family in Las Vegas / Arizona could do it.

    real men should compare rolling 100 to 200 mph acceleration...that is what would separate all these dragstrip queens , no ?
