Apparently the 2006 are much much more reliable(not sayint that the 2004's weren't already). If you look closer at the front view, you'll notice they have changed the headlights on the 2006's Touaregs compared to the old Touaregs. The new ones have er... what do you call those lights that turn around corners etc? It only uses one bulb in each headlight to do all the different angled beams with a help of a lens in the headlight.

Why on earth did you bought a 2nd one?
As far as I know, you already have a bunch of SUVs, the cayenne turbo, bmw x5, vw touareg v10, and now another one...
Are you trying to create your own little dealership?
I don't see any difference betwenn the two but Congrats on you new toy!

LOL, I might well! It's not over yet... the Range Rover Sport supercharged is coming next Monday
I plan on trading the old Touareg and X5 4.8iS in with the SL65 on a F430 coupe.

Yes, I have driven both the Murci and Gallardo. The only Murci the have atm is a colour I really dislike. To order will take another 9 months... If I took a Gallardo I would want the 06 models with the extra 20hp and revised gearing ratio's, but once again another half year wait. The F430 is an awesome car and I get it this afternoon if all goes well

You can't buy a diesel in many US states either. This is not because diesel cars as such are prohibited, but rather because the fuel quality is dreadful.
As a consequence, anti-pollution devices (e.g. cats, soot filters) cannot be fitted, and the car fails anti-pollution requirements. This fuel ruins the engine itself anyway.

I've thought about it, but the other factor in hand is cost. If there are any, they will definately have to be imported and when it comes to importing there will be tax on the items. It will cost 2x more to modify the car here. Plus the price on it alone was enough, not willing to spend more on an SUV

true, the tax doesn't make it worth it. But you could probably get some pretty sweet torque #'s out of that TDI

For political reason, The taxi in Hong Kong uses Liquid Petroleum Gas(LPG) now which is very clean. Hong Kong's taxi used to be all diesel engine which worsen the air quality. If they allow diesel cars, they have to allow diesel taxi as well. Hong Kong taxi will use the older diesel engine and cheap diesel fuel to save cost as a result create terrible pollution in HK. The government argument is that, if we don't allow diesel taxi and we won't allow diesel car as well.
There's another political reason why the government doesn't want us to use diesel

Although that VW V10 TDI engine is great, diesel cars are horrible from a "quality of life" stand point. I was almost sick from the fumes last time I was in europe. And the noise outside the cars... Even for big trucks and to heat your home they should use something else.

The fumes don't really bother me, I just close the garage door when the engine is running. Regarding the noise point of view, have you heard the V10 engine? It is very quiet, not any noisier than the Cayenne or X5!

I'm thinking you were around a lot of older diesel cars. Take a test drive in a diesel mercedes or the V10 TDI and see if your opinions on diesel change
