    Enzo goes for a dip

    Apparently this happened at the Targa Newfoundland. http://www.targanewfoundland.com/

    The owner of the car has an Exotic dealership in Calgary and is well known in that area for staging runs and such. Too bad about the car.

    Hopefully that's fresh water. If so, the car can be saved. If salt, it's a total loss and the value of the remainig Enzo's just went up - again. :)

    And... the video. Turns out the water is ocean, so it's not going to be cheap to fix this thing.

    Could have been much worse if he had hit that cabin.

    Hmm, another reason why awd for cars with more than around 300hp is a good idea?

    800+hp going only to the 2 rear wheels, even in sunny weather is bodering on insanity. Little bit of sand on the road and now he kiss his car goodbye.

    ^^^I would agree. With the advent of modern AWD systems, with the exception of drag racing, I see little compeling reason for a 300+hp car to be driven by the two rear wheels only.

    That guy had A LOT of fun being in control of this beast through the rear wheels only until.....

    The Targa is around the coastal area and tons of water incidents have occured. The roads are also VERY unpredictable.

    I intend to participate someday in the open to all class. It sure is a lot of fun but I am not there yet skills wise.

    You mean he couldn't just hang it on the clothesline and let it dry out? :)

    Those photos were interesting to look at. I have never seen an Enzo stripped down to its bare elements and the rolling tub.

    Kind of funny to think this is "last generation" decade old technology that a 1/3rd as expensive 458 can equal or out perform.

    The Enzo i considerably quicker than the 458 in a straght line and giver modern tyres it would also destroy it in a track.
