Looks like a smaller version of the 5 series, not sure that I like it (I like the 5 series but the design gets kind of boring if you see it in different models).

Heist:
It looks like a smaller 5-Series, which looks like a smaller 7-Series.
Appears BMW is back to it's old form, same sausage - what length would you like it cut?
Back to the Future . The marketing/sales team rules supreme again.
Is the internet autoblog world satisfied now, after bashing flame surfacing the past decade for a single generation of models that looked distinct from each other , which itself was a reaction to griping of BMW's " sausage " cars 15 yrs ago ?
Fickle , fickle , fickle

I was probably one of the few who didn't mind Bangle's flame surfacing and Bangle butt ideas. He set some radical trends in car making - which many car makers are now adopting. Look at any new Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Lexus sedan -- you can see the Bangle design touches in the body creases, rear end, and obtuse angled body lines.

New 1 series and 5 series had sex with unfortunately not the best possible outcome...

A lot of more pictures here: http://www.netcarshow.com/bmw/2012-3-series/
It looks great on a lot of them, I don't think it looks bad at all. I predict the coupe will be stunning.
The sketches do look unbeliveable
