This is a quality elegant looking car with performance to match. The LP 560 has always had an over the top styling.

On an aesthetic note, the fixed wing spoils the Spyder design significantly.

It might look OK on the Coupe but on this it looks too much of an afterthought...

The car is a keeper. You can be sure, that there will not be any successor of the R8 soon. It will stay the fastest Convertible Audi ever build for a long time!

Lars, only problem is that R8 will receive pretty good technical update in May 2012. 540ps engine and new 7 speed R tronic(based on Aventador gearbox), even uprated suspension.

New gearbox will be sequential manual with 7 speed from Graziano. Unfortunately, DCT gearbox is too long for R8 construction. Intro on Geneva 2012, very mild exterior changes and this is it till end of current R8 production life in late 2013.

So it sounds like facelift for MY 13/14, then new model coming for 2015. Thanks for the update!
