Does any member have access to the GTS Order Guide. If so, please attach it or post a link. I found the Cayman guide invaluable when questioning the dealer on exactly what I was getting as standard equipment when I ordered my Cayman S.
Thanks
Gilmour
Not sure if this is what you want but here you go:

Sure, it's on the Porshe Website. Any questions, let us know!
The USA online configurator isn't really good for other parts of the world because some options are not available, like for example the larger 90 l fuel tank.

Yes, there will be are geograpghic differences with regards to availability, cost, etc.
I would encourage anyone interested in ordering a GTS to sit down with their local Porsche dealer and review the options, avialability and cost after they have done an "outline" off of the website.
That is what I did when ordering my GTS and found out there were several differences between PCNA (Porsche USA) and the US Car Configurator on the Porsche Website.
You cannot rely on the Website or any printed catalogue or "order guide". They are good for a basic outline but only your local dealer can access the actual "Order Form" that is used for ordering...and even then there still could suddenly be no availability or changes from time to time on certain options!
Hope that helps...and sorry I left out this information previously.
Thanks for that RC. I have taken Doug's advice & spent the morning with fortunately a really knowledgeable salesman & had my queries answered. I must compliment Rennteam as all that has been written about the GTS from members with the car & those in the know have made the options selection a lot easier

It is our pleasure.
The GTS is really a great offer from Porsche.

John - test drive & meeting with the sales rep tomorrow. The deal hangs a bit on what they offer me for my Cayman S. There is a GTS on order that they are prepared to alter to my spec but I will only know the delivery schedule tomorrow.
Spec (& reasons) so far:
Speed Yellow (yellow phase of life. The silver one lasted 10 years)
Standard Interior with leather sports seats ( alcantara not my cup of tea & full leather faces a tough life in the desert)
PDK (no sport plus as I have it on the Cayman S & used once)
LSD (cant take the lowered sports option - too many speed bumps & ramps here)
Dynamic cornering lights (aesthetic reasons)
Carrera sport wheels (puncture capital of the world owing to living in a constant construction site and liberal use of interlock blocks at traffic intersections that allows sharp road debris to stand proud)
Auto dimming mirrors (RT member recommendation & essential with so many 4x4's here)
Park assist
Homelink
Floor mats
Yellow dials
Yellow belts

PDK (no sport plus as I have it on the Cayman S & used once)
PDK without the Sport Chrono Package Plus option is really lame! You have to order it to exploit this transmission fully (includes Sport that affects throttle map as well as the gearbox and Sport Plus for even quicker gear changes and Launch control).
Also I believe the Sport Chrono package will be a must for a good resale price, when the time comes.
"Form follows function"
I agree and would strongly urge you to revise your decision to omit Sport Chrono Plus...pleeeze!
The GTS can be driven quickly in PDK normal auto mode and, of course, is more relaxing in heavy traffic...BUT, it's only when hitting the sport or sport plus button that it shows it's true character and really comes to life. It changes from a pussy cat to a lion-hearted driver's car - something you must experience to get the most out of this model. It's also only when using these modes that you get the opportunity to really use the paddles as a genuine manual gearbox.
To my mind it would be criminal to eliminate the numerous alternative driving styles that Sport Chrono will give you.... seriously!

Gilmour,
I agree with the above comments regarding the PDK, Sport Plus and resale, etc!
However, I have the 6 sp. manual with short shifter, Sport Plus/Chrono and LSD. The short shifting manual in Sport Mode is so quick! WOW, what fun! ...an amazing transmission and suspension...responsiveness is pure "full attack mode" when switched to Sport Mode.
...and still haven't pushed her over 6,000 RPM (now approaching 1500 break-in miles).
As you can see, I just had to get one shot in from us "manual" porshephiles out here!
Good luck with your decisions...and hope you join our GTS family!
Thanks for all the feedback guys. From my information, the sport button comes as standard and all Sport Chrono does is provide launch control, shifts at max rpm for track use & the centre stopwatch. I will of course confirm this with the salesman as I agree the sport button is a must
No, no.To get the Sport button (and the sport plus button if PDK is chosen) with all the functions you must order the "Sport Chrono Package Plus"option.
You can read about it on page 26 of the english language GTS brochure. Download from here http://www.porsche.com/uk/models/911/911-carrera-gts/detail/

@gilmor:...I do share the opinions of the fellow RTs here concerning the Sports Chrono Pack. and especially with this car re-sale value should be "proportionally higher" with this option....and, perhaps, some day and unexpectedly , you may find yourself on a track day...and you will enjoy it....

No, Sport Chrono Plus (PDK) provides more aggressive shifting, revving and even adapts the PASM to that specific driving situation. More important, it changes throttle response, this alone is worth the money.
PDK without Sport Chrono Plus is like ordering vanilla ice cream without chocolate sauce.
A little comment regarding your option list: Yellow car, yellow dials, yellow belts but...no PCCB? Doesn't make sense. Check with your dealer if Porsche Exclusive can provide yellow brake calipers (at cost) or go for the real deal. Red calipers don't look too good on a speed yellow car, at least this is my personal opinion.
RC (Germany) - Rennteam Editor Porsche 997 Turbo, BMW X5 M, BMW M3 Cab DKG, Mini Cooper S JCW
Rennteam has saved the day. Thanks guys. You were all correct & I had been given false information. Sport Chrono is a must to get the sport button & has been added to my list.
RC, I agree totally with respect to the brake caliper colour but cannot justify PCCB cost. I will try & get them to agree to painting them yellow.
Great test drive this morning. So responsive & the sport exhaust sound is divine. Away on business now so meeting with the sales rep on 1 March to hammer out a deal looking at June delivery.
How will I pass the time
Are you sure about the yellow dials?
In my view that always looks a little bit weird.
I do appreciate the fact that you like to have some accents in the exterior color on the interior, but I would then go for a black interior, yellow seatbelts and yellow deviated stiching, rather than yellow dials...
This is how I would order my car (of course it would be a Cab because my wife wants one ).
Interior: Yellow seatbelts, yellow stitching, black painted interior parts, carbon package.

Gilmour:
Hello again everyone. Request input on whether to go for the 90l fuel tank. The GTS will be a daily driver with 1 or 2 track days a year
The 90 l fuel tank option is free of cost, do you even have to ask ?
Some people may argue that a higher capacity fuel tank also means more weight but if you go to the track, just put less fuel into the fuel tank.
To make it short: Yes, go for the 90 l fuel tank.

A Yellow Caution
Yellow trim bits like seat belts and insturment dials will cost you penalty money at your next trade in time.
I know a color consulting company that provides services to the paint, dye and textile industries. Yellow is going out of fashion fast. Its been over cooked for almost a decade since Ferrari did a car show with all yellow cars instead of red cars to shock the press.
Yellow trim pieces inside of cars is going to soon seem as out of date as white wheels and white wiper arms do.

I agree but since the PCCB calipers are yellow, yellow stitching isn't really going out of style. I would however not take the whole car in speed yellow or with speed yellow dials but hey, what the heck, it is Dubai and not Hintertupfingen (an alias for a boring and very far away from the main stream positioned german town, which of course doesn't exist).

John H:
I declined the 90 litre fuel tank, the normal 67 litre is fine for me and should suit most people's needs...
Why would you decline it if it is free of cost ? Just curious ?
RC (Germany) - Rennteam Editor Porsche 997 Turbo, BMW X5 M, BMW M3 Cab DKG, Mini Cooper S JCW
Actually, I also don´t know why to miss out on the 90 litre fueltank as this gives the car quite some mileage on longer trips. It might make more sense on the Autobahn than on speed-restricted UK roads, so I can understand John´s opinion. Nonetheless, travelling 600 to 800 kms without refelling sounds great to me.
Maybe these pictures from the SA test will help you in configuration:
