    Another new GTS joins the team

     

    I picked up the baby yesterday!     

    It's one of the first GTS cars to be delivered here in Northern California. 

    I promised John H. I would post a few pics and let you all know when "the stork arrived"!

     Beautiful - many congrats.

    Pictures are really appreciated, however, it would really not be necessary to post the ones with the top down during winter time as it just increases our suffering with the winter depression... (just kidding, keep'em coming).

     Congrats, it looks amazing. I've always loved the clear tail lights option on the 997, works great with the shape and proportions of the rear.

    I will post some more photos at home here this weekend...when I get that UGLY dealer advertising plate off the rear end!!

    ...and it's a pleasure to Join you and Nick in the new GTS fellowship!  As I am sure you agree, even with "the dreaded breakin", I was very impressed with the low end torque during my "maiden voiage" home on the freeway yesterday.  The car just shot from 3,200 ro 4,200 RPM in FOURTH gear...and WHOA!!, hello 90 MPH!  That was THIRD gear in my old Boxster S...and nowhere near the torque!!

    The other thing that was REALLY cool...is how the car kinda sucks down to the pavement when you push "Sport Mode"...nice!!! 

    It's gonna be some kinda fun!!!

    Oh boy, you really made my day. My dealer still has a GTS Coupe and Cab in the same color, also with black painted rims and these cars look amazing, I really feel the "urge". Smiley
