This is the first (rendered) image of Porsche’s new supercar which will be unveiled during Detroit Motor Show in January!
The car will be powered by a bi-turbo engine with 600bhp. Top speed will be over 300 km/h and 0-100 km/h will be achieved in about 4 seconds. Porsche’s new supercar is expected to hit the roads in 2014 and fight against the Ferrari 458 Italia and the McLaren MP4-12C.

Hmmm....
This rendering has the roofline of a Cayman, the tail of a Carrera GT, 2007 Turbo wheels and the nose of a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT.
I think someone needs to go back to the drawing board.

I don't think that's really it. If so, bleh. Super boring.
0-60 time is probably nonsense. 4 seconds for a supercar when they have Turbo PDK's doing sub 3 with less hp? No way.
Very well said.
There is a lot of speculation going on right now but according to our sources, the smaller Cayenne is actually the priority for Porsche right now because it can capture a completely new customer base.
The smaller, below-Boxster, model is also on the table.
The so called "intermediate" super sports model, below the 918 and above the GT2 RS, has been discussed but I don't really know if it's design prototype is going to be unveiled in Detroit.
Another possible new model could also be the rumored Panamera Coupe.

Well, apparently we will be able to see it, whatever it is, live through the internet, since Porsche will stream it live on this link bellow on the 10th of January
