Gt2 reached in Sa supertest 2007 293 km/h at Döttinger Höhe so the 458 Performance is not that Great 3 years later i think. Sls had something around 280 at this point

Being faster than a track day special Porsche on simi slicks, is rather excellent! Imagine what a track day special Ferrari could do. Not to mention what would happen on a normal track...

It looks like the 458 is a beast upto 200km/h and starts slowing down ? maybe Kreso is right, when he said a 911 Turbo PDK was faster on the highway

The 458 is very refined in terms of driving quality, performance is very nice too but after the 200KM you start feel little slowness in acceleration. Compared to the 16M, it is softer and less loud.

Exactly! Not to mention that on the 0-160 mph reading, the 458 blitzes the 911 Turbo S!!! I guess that some people read the results as they find fitting and suiting...

Did they publish this time? Did not remember this 
32,4 sec was puplished.
i do think the 458 makes 0-300 in round about 33 secs if they would haved messured him on the sa test 0-300-0.
Dont forget sa puts to person in the car an full fuel tank. That facts brakes a bit.
458 is as fast as lambo 570 superlegera, faster than the turbo / S witch need about 38-40 secs for that, faster than the current gt2 witch was messured in 35-36 secs (gt2 is missing double clutch and 7th gear, or the extra power from the rs...)
but quit a bit slower den gt2 rs witch was in 28,.. secs.

May I remind you the Vairano test by Quattroruote with Prost behind the steering wheel?
Put an other formula one driver behind any car and he would be able to make a significant better time...
or in the otherhands, when prost drives the 458 he should also drive the gt2 on the same day on the same place to have a fair comparison..

Why would another F1 driver beter Prost's times? That makes no sense...
I was referring to the 430 Scuderia that on the same day lapped Vairano quicker than the GT2 in the hands of Prost. The 458 improved on the Scuderia's time, albeit on a different day.
