The price is as I predicted. I had it around $230,000. Most believed it would be above $250,000. That would have been almost a 25% increase in price over the prior model which did not make economic sense to me.

The yellow callipers are orribles because if you put it you have three differents graduations of yellow !!!!!!! (a type of yellow in the center of the wheel, another diifferent yellow in the shields, and at last another one different graduation of yellow for the callipers....)....! ! 
The Alluminium callipers are more elegant and matches better!! 
About the Stereo Hi-Fi Premium is the best choice you can do, first of all because the original Stereo System is only 8x25 watt (the Toyota Yaris has a better one..!!) and then because the JBL Professional is one of the best Hi-Fi makers in the world and the Power is over 8x90 Watt with 2 digital subwoofer..!!!!
And it's not true that the speakers looks like crap because instead the speakers have been insert also in the SAME colour of the interior in a very elegant way and enrich all the compartment!!

POSTERIOR LIGHTS FLASHING........ IT'S A MISTERY.....
The videos which appear to show "flashing" LED rear lights are just caused by the video recorder picking up on the "Pulse Width Modulation" as power is "pulsed" to the LED.
Apparently many LEDs are driven via PWM at approximately 50% modulation -- which should appear to most people as fully on and static to the naked eye, but can appear to strobe through a camcorder viewer. On the positive side, the PWM drive should increase the longevity of the individual LEDs.
But it does make them look a bit strange on video...

I think this is the way I'll order my car with the sports seats in black leather and black alcantara, white special stitching and c/f steering wheel and centre console.

The same as those fitted in the pic.... optional sports wheels painted in matte dark grey.
That combo is amazing, the car from the pic is utter perfection.

I find it strange that only one of us (Dimitri) has been able to order the 458. It has been out for over six months and none of our names have been called.
I'm going to the Atelier a week on Monday to order mine Nick (if I can get an alternative flight to the British Airways one we were booked on which is cancelled due to the strike). My car is a July build.
