POSTERIOR LIGHTS FLASHING........ IT'S A MISTERY..... 

The videos which appear to show "flashing" LED rear lights are just caused by the video recorder picking up on the "Pulse Width Modulation" as power is "pulsed" to the LED.

Apparently many LEDs are driven via PWM at approximately 50% modulation -- which should appear to most people as fully on and static to the naked eye, but can appear to strobe through a camcorder viewer. On the positive side, the PWM drive should increase the longevity of the individual LEDs.

But it does make them look a bit strange on video...
