    Lambo coloured 987S

    There was a post on here sometime ago, perhaps on the old Rennteam site, where a UK owner took delivery of a Special Order 987S in Lambo colour to sample Grey with Orange interior...

     Does anyone have a link to that post (can't find it using the search), or can remember who owned it?

    The thread came from ISUK and the car belongs to a member of his family if I remember correctly.  The color is Grigio Proteus. 

     Indeed it was posted on the old Rennteam.

    boytronic  check www.boxa.net  and search   for the name  isuk  you will find his post with foto,s of the 987 with grey lambo paint  and the lambo (orange) leather seats very sharp looking

    One of the nicest interiors I have seen in any car.   Porsche provides you with endless possibilities... only limited by your imagination and budget.

    Iif I remember corectly the colours where taken form the Lambrghini. Both for the exterior and the interior.

    Cant believe why beeing so flashy in the interior and so boring in the exterior.

    LOL Lars997 - both the interior and exterior are Lambo matched colours - far from boring!! The exterior is the same colour as the Murcie in my avatar!! :-)

    This is my favorite color and leather to sample of all that I have ever seen, always makes me smile! Smiley My only complaint it that ISUK's sister isn't on Rennteam! Smiley Smiley

    That leather looks somehow much more soft as the other colors? Is this is different quality?

    Lars,

    The leather is slighty better quality than the normal full leather option and is very soft.

    I´d say some proper aftermarket suspension should solve the problem as well...

    Don't care for the PASM system myself and have never spec'ed it on any of my Porsches. I've never found the ride quality on 19" wheels with regular suspension to be harsh but then again I never found my E60 5 series to ride harshly on 18" runflats when other people on various forums did.

    I don't think she's used her car that much to be honest and was even pondering selling it a few weeks back. She's since been persuaded not to though and told to start using it more Smiley
