any one know is the new cayenne will have PDK ??
Yes, it will replace the Tiptronic option.
It may however be technically different to the 997/987 PDK due to the heavy duty off-roading capability and PTM adaptation requirements.

Just drove the Q5 3.0 TDI with the double clutch transmission. It's a great combination and feels much sportier than the heavier X5 with traditional automatic transmission
Of course the Q5 feels sportier than the X5, there is a huge weight difference.
It may have to do with the transmission too but it is mainly the weight and of course the steering setup.
Is it right to compare the Q5 with the X5? the Q5 is quite a bit smaller indeed. having been a BMW driver my whole life and my previous car being the E53, I wasn't impressed with the new E70.

Definitely an evolution of the current Cayenne with typical Porsche styling cues.
The front and rear details are hidden by camo so we cannot be 100% sure. The sides are more sculptured than the current model.
Also the overall impression created by the new design is of a more compact car. The new styling hides the size better than Cayenne.1.
Why do they put the side mirrors on the doors like this? It looks so clumsy. Even on the peugeot 206 (mirrors in window corner) and the 207 (mirrors on the doors, like these spy shits) , this makes a huge difference in looks.

Joost:Exactly my feelings.

Unfortunately Porsche will do this with every new car, including the new 911.

+2, I really like the way the new Cayenne is shaping up, but these new side mirrors are one new design exception and remind me of antennae on an insect, they just don't look as sporty.

Hopfully they did their homework with the aerodynamics of the mirror this time. The old cayenne has a really bad design throwing up dirt on the window when driving in rain.
