Not bad. 
Well, I don't like the rims too much (I prefer the original ones) but not bad. Unfortunately I have to go for a black one this time, so if someone is very talented and could take some of those official press release pictures and do a black Turbo with black rims (PCCB!!!), I would really appreciate it.

If I tell ya, kid...I have to kill ya.
I'm afraid the reason for black is a pretty simple one: black isn't too flashy. I don't want my friends and neighbors to realize that I have a new car (my 997 CS was black too) but at the same time, I don't want anybody to stare at my car, especially not my customers.
And our Cayenne isn't black. No mafia car.

What color is your Cayenne? I always thought that it was black.

Easy to say...if you need their money.
I'm in a business where there isn't much chance for growth in the future, on the contrary, I should be happy if it stays as it is.The only chance to improve would be to invest a lot of money and/or to re-open in a more crowded zone. Regarding the neighbors, well, the typcial german mid-class neighborhood. Doctors, teachers, business men, all driving BMWs and Audis, their wifes using a VW Sharan, BMW X5 (at best) or a Volvo stationwagon as a family commuter. Believe it or not but I already lost a good relationship to one neighbor because I mentioned how much power the Cayenne has. Another neighbor hasn't showed up anymore since I mentioned to his wife how much fuel the Cayenne eats.
This guy is very enviromental oriented, he told my wife that our Cayenne poisons his kids' future.
I'm not kidding. From my experience, envy is very strong with people who actually have a lot of things, not very poor people. Don't know why.

They don't really think of it as envy, but they see themselves as being better than you because they don't spens so much money on things that don't matter to THEM (this is something they miss). Don't let them get you down. People are hypocritical most of the time so losing such a "good" acquaintance isn't much of a problem.

I wash my Porsches at the local fuel station or at the dealer...automatic car wash, no hand wash. Never cared too much about shine. But honestly: of course people notice a Porsche over here, no matter what colour. But black isn't a flashy colour in Germany. It is more some sort of "elegant" colour, this is why it doesn't appear to be flashy. A red or yellow Porsche would immediately attract attention, the best choices over here are black or silver, especially for people who are using their car as a daily commuter to business and back home.

It's is really hard to be low key with a Porsche. One of my friends dad allways pulled up to my school in a 996 GT2 and although the car is silver it was impossible for him to go unnoticed. If you own a Porschr you can drive but you can't hide.
If I was to buy any car today I would go for black. Jsut like you mentioned it's not a very flashy colour but still it's very classy and timeless. Silver is also a nice colour but I find it very boring since a huge percentage of the new cars produced are silver.

Just imagine what your neighbours would think if you bought the Lamborghini Murcielago you've always liked. 
It's a pity that your neighbours are so conservative; they should not be so intrusive. Obviously anyone who would not want to speak to you anymore because of what you drive is not worth having as a friend. I hate people that try to instil all their beliefs onto others.
