    Santa is coming...STUPID kiddy games, I hate these "prepare for the..." ads, they are useless, annoying and since we already know almost all specs, including the looks, absolutely DUMB.

    I don't know who does the advertisement campaigns for Porsche but I never liked their ads and I think it is time for a change.

    Horrible way to "tease" customers, we're a bunch of adults, not little kids who are waiting for Santa.

    IMO, I find many of their ads insulting..

    Now that everyone brought it up, I shall admit that their Cayman commercial on Speed TV is really cheezy and tasteless.

    They should perhaps hire a reputable company to do their commercials. For Porsche brand their ad's slogans in magazines and TV commercials need more spice.

    Can't tell about the recent ones (haven't seen them), but their older commercial and adverts are great, IMHO...

    I think some of you are way too serious sometimes...

    (not that there's anything wrong with that )

    I dont believe that the problem is the commercial...
    The problem is that Porsche should had informed us about the new turbo long time ago..
    I never understood why they didnt tell us from the very begining that the new turbo is going to be like that and that...
    I believe that the should have informed us with the press release from Dec 2005

    Maybe they were afraid for the 480hp.. ?!

    I find that terrible Christophorus magazine to be the most insulting ad of all. It's got minimal information content and seems to be targeted at pretentious luxury goods consumers, not sportscar enthusiasts. I won't miss it when my freebie subscription ends.

    While I agree that these "its coming" ads are stupid to us...people who know the specs, who've been following the 997TT through its stages. But joe shmoe with his bag of money, who doesn't really follow cars to much, just buys them...when he stumbles on the Porsche website & see's that...I think that is the type of client they are advertising for. Because obviously, anyone who knows the specs of the 997TT doesn't need an advertisement to "sell" them on the car, because they're already sold
