RC,
if it is the same one that is on the Clubsport or the GT3RS, that is built by Sachs for Porsche Motorsports, why would there be a warranty problem and wouldn't they have the same "noise" as you claim?
I had a single mass flywheel put onto my C2, and didnt notice any extra noise or clanking.
I heard dozens(!) of cars with single mass flywheel and all of them made a more or less audible noise, especially at idle but also during driving especially in low rev regions.
Are you sure you had a single mass flywheel installed on your C2?
A REAL single mass flywheel with lower weight?
Regarding warranty: any modification which isn't stock might void your warranty. Installing a single mass flywheel to the new GT3 ("third" series or Mark II as some call it
) definetely is a problem because Porsche doesn't offer a single mass flywheel for it, not even as a retrofit. Forget about Porsche Motorsport, Porsche is Porsche and Porsche Motorsport is Porsche Motorsport. Your warranty is provided to you by Porsche.
