NEWSFLASH: Swedish invention against speeding tickets
They market it as a device that makes it easier to clean your license plates by flipping the plates to horizontal position, but you have to be pretty dense not to imagine how difficult it would be for the police to identify a speeding car, the norwegian newspaper Aftenposten reports.
Three young men from Stockholm are behind the invention.
And they are now trying to get it approved as a device to help cleaning your plates for snow and grime.
"We have had quite some interest from Norway, too. I have heard the Norwegians are close to pedantic when it comes to keeping their license plates clean", says Frederik Gunnarsson from the company Plankatullen.nu
They are still trying to find out if this device is legal in Norway, or if the plate-flipping will render a moving car illegal.
