    S55 AMG 0-100mph acceleration vid.

    Sound is practically the same on the S55 and E55, there is no difference. The SL55 is a little bit louder (also because of the missing rear seats and the fact that the exhaust is nearer to the driver's ear).
    BTW: the SL55 does NOT have a clap exhaust and development has been done by AMG alone.
    Same applies to all other x55 models.

    Lemme say, AMG did an awesome job, did you see the SL55 vs. Carsson SL55? Supercharger whien vs. AMG's growl?

    I love the sound of AMG cars!

    Bilal, no problem, you can post whatever you like as long as it goes by the rules. And I don't see any violation of our board rules.
    The AMG Club story isn't really my problem, it is theirs. If they throw out a member who just tells the truth, a member who's probably as enthusiastic about AMG cars as anybody else (enthusiastic doesn't mean blind ) in the Club, THEY have a problem, not me.
    I'm very pleased to hear that Tony has resigned from the leadership of the Club, so have others who probably were involved in my story. It doesn't have anything to do with me but sometimes there is a god up there in the skies...
    Maybe I'll apply again in the future but honestly, I don't see why I should. I get along very fine with the AMG employees, they're very nice and capable people and I get everything the members of the AMG Owners Club get too. And happy me: I don't need the savings they get, at least I have my pride.
    But enough said, you can post any link you want, especially to the AMG Owners Club. No problem.
