    Thanks GA... I ended up not getting it. There was too much rain and flooding out there. So, I got to keep chewing my nails for 2 more days...
    Btw, she did see your S Cab back in Germany and it seems your Cab can't wait to meet you. Enjoy it when it arrives!

    Finally went to the dealer today to see the car.
    I can't wait to get it later this week.
    Btw, I was hoping that my C2S would come with the Michelin PS2s, but instead I noticed that the batch of Carreras that the dealer just got all had Pirelli Pzeros. Anyone knows how the Pirellis compare to the Michelins in the Carrera cars?

    Just curious.....why aren't you getting your car until later in the week? My car arrived at my dealership in the morning and I drove it home mid-afternoon the same day.

    Would you believe that I am having it taken home on a flatbed truck? My appointment to have the 3M film put in front of the car is in another 3 weeks and I am afraid to have the front damaged before the film is on (would have to drive it from NJ to NY). Am I sick or what???

    Not to cast a cloud over your plan to have the car flatbeded but I hope you realize that your car was made to be driven. You are just as exposed to damage on the back of the flatbed as you are driving it. I have an artic silver MY05 cab and I enjoy driving it in any weather. I will garage it for the winter but that has more to do with the performance tires and suspension and rear wheel drive. Get over it and enjoy the car, I know I do.

    Also, got my car in NJ and live in NY, what dealer and where do you live?

    Enjoy your new car, it is a GREAT choice.

    I decided to go to Detailing Dynamics in Mineola. I went to visit them and was very impressed by the quality of their work.

    Hi Lenny... I know I am sick... Once the 3M film is on, I definitely will follow your advice and will drive the car as much as possible before winter gets here. Dealer is Jack Daniels on Route 4 and I live in Queens. Thanks!!!

    GMP, just make sure that you enjoy the car when you get it. It is made to be driven. Also, I live on LI and have used Detailing Dynamics for some work on my last car, they are good and you shouldn't be sorry.

    Very nice color spec.

    I like the interior trim/exterior color match.

    I wonder how light grey mats would look.

    Did dealer tint the windows? What %?

    Thanks GA! Light grey mats would work... I have to apologize for the quality of the pictures... The whole interior is actually darker than what you see in the pics (after I saw the pics, I ran to the garage to confirm that its does look darker than this, which I prefer). Same thing for the windows - they are not tinted at all. The guys who are going to put the 3M film recommended a 50% tint on the glass... I am thinking about it...

    Dealer suggested 35% on mine and I think it's way too dark. I'm considering 50% maybe for next summer. For now, I want people to see who's in it! Actually, windows and top have been down the whole time!

    Why are you reading these posts so soon? You should be driving that thing!

    Learned my car was finished today!
    This is a Nov. allocation C4 Cab that ended up with a PRDEST of 10/24/05 that ended up finished a week ahead of that (10/17)!
    Was told car may make the boat that leaves 10/20 and arrive Brunswick, GA 11/04 OR the boat that leaves 10/26 and arrives 11/09.
    COME TO PAPA!!
    Dealer agreed to install the clear side markers when I asked if they'd do it and for how much. Pretty nice of them!
