    Color Option for '06 "S"

    I currently have an "S" on order with the color options: Atlas Grey Met on Black leather. I was wondering which color option would look best in your opinions. Would Atlas/Black or Atlas/Stone Grey be better than the other? Also car is ordered with black top as well which I will not change. Too me Black seems a bit dark with the Atlas, would the Stone Grey help contrast it and make the car more of an eye catcher?

    Have you thought about sand beige interior? It looks superb with seal grey although I haven't seen it with atlas. Sand beige really benefits from full rather than partial leather, though. Of the two colours you mention stone grey would be the better choice, I agree with you black might be too dark IMO. It's a personal choice though, what I (and others) might like you may not. Go with your own peferences if you listen to other peoples opinions, which may all be different, you will never make your mind up!

    Have you considered the two tone, black/grey, interior. I have an Atlas on order and the black/grey looked very nice when I saw it. I ended up going with black only because I was concerned about keeping the the carpet, which is grey in the two tone, clean.

    With all of Porsche's great color combinations, I don't understand why so many people go with a variation of silver with a black interior. I don't mean to be critical of others, since color is a personal choice and 987s look great in just about any color (I've even started to like speed yellow/black). I happen to like black, basalt, atlas, slate, seal or arctic with the terracotta. GT silver and cocoa is interesting. I chose seal/sand because I think the combo is really different and it's never seen where I live. I also wanted a lighter interior because this is essentially a warm weather car. I've gotten a tremendous number of compliments with people saying they hadn't thought of the two colors together. As for the standard leather interior, it's just fine. There's no need to go for the full leather unless you have some extra cash. (I wanted PCM, so that took up a large part of the options budget.) If you had to choose between full leather and mechanical options, as I did, I'd go with the latter.

    My point is to be creative. Test out different combinations on the configurator (as long as you don't end up with something like olive/terracotta).

    I'm in love with olive but, yes, with terracotta it would blow (needs tan or black)

    The best colour roof for Atlas is the blue one, as it brings out the blue tinge in the Atlas paintwork a treat, making it look almost midngiht blue in bright sunlight. But then its best to go for the ocean interior to match.

    I agree. Atlas Gray really ought to be called Atlas Blue and it looks great with a blue top. Several interior colors look great with it.

    Currently I have a 987S MY05 with the Atlas Grey and Sand Beige interior combo and it looks fantastic.
