    Make SURE you see Cocoa in person. Not that it's bad. Just that the photos characteristically do NOT represent it accurately.

    It's a little too brown for my tastes, unlike sand or beige, it's not a color you'd expect in a car interior.

    My wife and I have been shopping for her Boxter S and we initially wanted white on Cocoa but after seeing it up close... Well we chose to go with something else, I guess it's more like.... AN ACQUIRED TASTE!

    Your target purchase should be the 997TT, but in the interim, go for the 996TT and get on your dealer's wait list for the 997TT. Of course, if you are obsessed about things such as depreciation and trade-in value and budget comparo's., then this whole thread is a moot point. But if all possible purchases are budgetable, then stick with the blowers, and view the move from 996TT to 997TT as a "facelift." I'm officially #4 on my dealer's list for the 997TT-specifically the T-Cab. or the TS-Cab.! Here's hoping the 997TT and TS both in cab. form will be available by summer '06 (probably labelled as an '07 model), since the wait is agonizing as is.

    I'm number 2 on my dealer's list ... hehehe But it's just the same here really. Hoping to see the 997TT (S) cab around summer 06 (MY07). But I'm afraid it might be a few months later actually

    i like the coco alot, but i don't like the way it looks blotchy!!! and it is kinda darker than expected!

    to me cocao and palm green have the same feeling when i climb into the car, it takes A LOT of getting used to, but try to resell that car, good luck to you!
