I used emery cloth and water. Start off with 80 grit to knock down the deep ridges. Rub against the grain. Keep moist. When flat move on to 180 grit. Keep rubbing. You will
feel it as the stainless steel becomes smoother. At this point it will begin to shine. Move on to 360 or 400 grit.
Rub some more. Its lookin pretty good now, but do not quit
just yet. Repeat with 600 and maybe 1000 grit. Then apply some fine metal polish and maybe some wax. Repeat waxing as needed. If you do a good job you can try the same technique
on the ORANGE PEEL PAINT.
I bought 1600 grit. I'll lrt you know how I make out.
