Will Porsche Exclusive slap on a non-Turbo 997 retractible spoiler on the TT rear deck for a..., ahem..., "reasonable" (LOL) price?
Yeah, sure, the aerodynamics at 160mph+ might be effected, but how about straight line perf at 130-140mph?
It would seem the actuator wiring and sensors would be about the same as a normal aspirated 997.
Is there a problem with bulky TT engine components (aircleaner etc) that would prevent the modification?
I can't figure out of that wing is stylistic thing or absolutely the only solution to the problem of aerodynamics and physical/mechanical engine characteristics.
For the sake of discrete daily driving it would be nice if the big wing could be removed and the normal 997/S retractible spoiler could be fitted.
