Yes, the GTS is still a good deal but I'm not so sure about the powerkit itself, the Speedster and especially the Carrera Classic.

I know, I know...just some numbers but the differences are really hardly measurable.

Btw: I heard the rumor that Porsche actually planned to install the 435 HP GT3 engine into the Carrera GTS but apparently cost was too high and would have blown up the price tag.

So they went for the powerkit engine instead, which is also installed in the Speedster and Carrera Classic.

The powerkit engine has two major advantages which can't be measured by performance numbers: 

1. The sound is better (even with sport exhaust it sounds slightly different than the Carrera S engine with sport exhaust), sportier, 911-like

2. The engine feels more "free", as if it breathes better (max. power is achieved at 7300 rpm, rev limiter jumps in at 7500)

3. Torque curve is slightly better but not really dramatically better.

Not really worth 12000 EUR or so but at least it is for free in the GTS.
