Gnil:To me the cars in the PDF files are all cars already build. So none are Gaus's, Whoopsy's, The Missile (?), or mine.
Not many in that file for the Americanmarket. You can see that by the option ''Bügel'' ( roll cage) which is not legal in Northern America.
nr 057 to 061 are probably the blue cars we saw on the Spa video. All the same cars, used by Porsche for different events.
Same goes to nr 064 to 068. They look like the other cars seen on the video event at Spa. All with same specific specs.
Yeah I realized that now. Those initial cars are all for European market or perhaps Asia or Middle East. North American cars comes later.
But it's also Porsche's M.O. for the longest time. Literally every model they make the initial ones are always European first.

That's because we whine too much and our warranty is twice as long. Europeans get to be the Beta testers

Breaking news.
Porsche just informed my dealer that his 2 confirmed GT4RS allocations, me and another dude, had been pushed back to MY2023 instead of MY2022. Didn't expand on the why for the delay.
Looks like I am not getting my car in July anymore. Earliest it can enter production will be Sept for MY2023.

the-missile:Ziggy:I was reviewing the pdf file provided by Gauss (Great find BTW...Thanks for sharing! ). I went through all the 29 pages of this post and googled it but could not find the info... What is the Clubsport package? And LED...Are they the LED front lights?
Clubsport is basically a cage and a harness and can be selected either in steel or titanium.
LED is the type of lights to be selected for the front lights.
Thank you!

Love those pie charts ! Thanks. Amazed by the high proportion of the fancy different options.

No surprise there. Cars are not produced anymore.
Mine was also supposed to be June but has been postponed to unknown date.
The problem comes from the electric wire supplies.
Porsche has found a new place outside Ukraine to produce them but they need to get all the machines out of the Ukraine factory and for the moment it is too unsafe to have trucks drive the road. …..

Have you heard if the Cayman GT4 RS will be followed by a Cayman GT4 ST with the 4.0 GT3 motorsport engine but without the rear wing!?!

d997h:My dealer told me recently, they got two allocations for this year…
Doesn't look good indeed. I was asked months ago if I want one or not and that it is my last chance. So I guess it was clear from the start that demand will be high and with the current production issues (supplies), I am not surprised.
I really like this car, I kind of regret not ordering one but I wasn't sure I can afford another car, too many changes in my life going on and I have to think about the future.

Gauss:The configurator now shows PTS colours.
also new: Magnesium wheels in white gold and exterior accent package in yellow
PTS can only be ordered if combined with the WP. It adds minimum 3 month to the delivery time. I did a quick configuration... ending in GT3 territory with base options.
a bit wishful thinking, but would be great if some people lining up for GT4 RS actually go for 992 sport classic instead, so a bit more likely for the rest of the people to get an allocation for GT4 RS. I know they are completely different products n/a vs turbo and PDK vs manual....

I doubt that getting a Sport Classic is easier than ordering a GT4RS.

In Switzerland 'for now' at least, you can't order a GT4 RS anymore. I assume they'll ramp up production again at some point, can't imagine the current supply chain is helping...
