Re: Boxster Spyder News?
We're enjoying our spyder in Italy for the moment, around lake Garda. Next week 5 days to Corsica! Mss finally came to peace with the spyder too. We bought taylormade earprotectors with filter to let music through. The music is really ok and the nice engine growl is still there! Just great. We drove topless from Basel till lake Garda on the autobahn. We went over hhe Gotthardpass instead of usingvthe tunnel. Fantastic! Here on the B-roads earprotection isn't needed because speed is far less. So we can enjoy fully the openair experience and hear the bark of the engine against the mountainsides.
Nice anecdote: in our hotel's underground parking there are several porsches: 1968 targa, 964,997, 991S cab, 991 GTS cab, boxster GTS and our spyder. All of a sudden, pure coincidence we were 4 to drive away simultanuesly! What an orchestra! The whole kitchenteam came in the parkingplace and applouded for our recital! :-)

truly what these cars are designed for! I'm so envious, touring with a convoy like that.... Pleased to hear that Your Boss has come to terms with your Spyder, same as SWMBO has with the seats in our GTS thankfully 
Here in the UK The Goodwood Road Racing Club which I belong offers tours like this but at huge expense staying in top flight luxury hotels.... The Club caters for members much wealthier than me unfortunately!! 
Currently reviewing my ongoing membership with retirement getting closer.
