    Evolution Ram Air Induction System For 997 S

    Has anybody installed this and what are the pros and cons? Evidently 8-11hp gain and it "growls" under acceleration.

    i dont like at all this mod. This company does not sound reliable to me....the site has a long time to be updated, and turbo in a 997 is not my thing.
    Moreover that Air Induction System is not to be placed "alone",it is a pack along with the supercharger mod.


    Not enthusiastic proposal to my ears, thanx for the info though.;)

    I have the fabspeed intake system...great sound improvement...dont know about HP increase

    I love good jokes.

    I learned one thing in the past from various tuners, wannabee tuners and people who really have a clue about engines: forget about power upgrades on normally aspirated engines. Unless you're doing serious tuning like camshafts, motronic, etc., you don't gain any significant power. Those ram air induction bla bla stuff has been around for a while in a form or another and all I can say is: I wouldn't buy it. But of course this isn't my money and you're free to do what you want.

    Yeah, but what happens if you put a magnet in the soles of your shoes - maybe that's where the 8hp comes from :-)
