    NO 996 turbo or 996 turbo S for 2006

    I've called my dealer just now and I asked him about if I can order 996tt or 996tts for 2006
    and he said that they will stop making it because the 997 turbo is replacing it.
    "his name is Bono and he worked in stutgart for the past years and he just came here to manage porsche, audi, VW here in Qatar.

    Likely after summer 2006 the first MY2007 997 Turbos will start to roll out form factory

    thats in worst scenarios, but I hope it will be out before that

    There's usually been at least an 18 month "no production" gap between each of the last few (911/964/993/996) Turbo generations so it makes sense that there will be no model year '06 911 Turbo.

    Perfect, Gives me 18 months to enjoy C2S CAB before adding the TT to collection.

    since they stoped making 996 turbos then I guess the new 997tt will be in the next Frankfurt Motor Show this summer.
