lap time thoughts
Let's say the Cayman costs $55k. I am doubting that they will let it get too close to the lap times of the Carrera S. However, a good driver in an evo/sti will get very close to an S. In other words, on your track days, you'll probably get passed by cars with 5 seats that cost 20k less than your Cayman. I'd say the Cayman should do at least 2 seconds better than an Evo around a 2 minute track. Optimally it would weigh less than 2800 pounds and cost a bit less than a boxster S, oh well, we can dream.
