    Ever wonder how a 997 Speedster would look like?

    I've never been a fan of open-top 911's but now that the 997Cab is out I wondered just for fun how a 997 Speedster version would look... maybe something like this?

    I never liked the real speedsters because the "hump" was even bigger than the regular cab but in the 997 its even worse

    Carlos, as always good p/shop. Not for me though, I'm not even keen on the standard cab.

    Carlos, As most others, I like the PS work, but not the looks of the car. I think you took the worst angle for your pic. The hump of the speedster is not as wide as the total fuselage of the car. That is hardly visible in this pic, so it looks awfully monstrous. Would you have taken a 3/4 angle, I think it would have looked a lot better! (see example pic of the actual 997 cab) If you want some high res pics to perform your ps on, pm or mail me.

    If done right the 997 is a perfect canidate for a speedster model ...

    I think the Boxster is more suited for the speedster look, simply cause the 911's backseat makes a 911 speedster look silly.
    You PS is nice, but the car is hoorendous IMO.
    Looks like a stranded whale

    Carlos, maybe we can collaborate on a new sketch I'm working on.
    I could use your input.
