    Fabulous combo!

    Before paint to sample became available for the CGT, I was signed up for Sealgrau/Terrakotta.

    Atlas looks even better

    My Porsche Dealer have many of these combinations!
    They have black/Cocoa, sealgrey/terrakotta and many more!

    I love these cars!

    As for the light interior colors, Terracotta included I am not sure, as someone pointed out in that thread, it's very classy.
    I prefer sporty interiors.

    One thing that I don't think blends very well with light colors in the 997, is that, contrary to the 996, with the 997 a lot of Aluminium (or alu look) trims is standard in the car now.
    And somehow it looks a bit weird with any kind of light shade (excluding light grey of course) colors.

    Now what's even weirder, is that it's not the case in the Carrera GT that was presented to the public, its interior is a mix though! (Aluminium, Dark leather, Brown leather).

    A very effective way to keep lighter interior colors from overwhelming the eye is to order deviating color for the carpeting. Something darker, like black or Metropol.

    Here's a grey interior with deviating Metropol carpets:

    Terracotta goes great with Basalt Black, Slate Gray, GT Silver, Atlas Gray or any other blue colours.

    Pics of your CGT?

    Mike, have you had any time to take pics of your CGT? We've seen it being unloaded but no more since. I think we need a Signal Yellow treat for the weekend.

    We still have dunes of blowing and drifting ice-melt salts poluting the roadways around here. I haven't had the CGT out of the garage since I drove it home from the dealer.

    As soon as the Spring rains wash away that white, powdery corrosion enhancer from the tarmac, I'll get it out and let it shine!

    KF - Am I mistaken or does that interior include black carpets to offset the terracotta. If so would you be able to post more pics of the footwell area on both the driver and passenger sides (in close & back a bit to include the dash). Thanks.

    Check out this photo; something to ponder. I'm not saying I've reached any conclusions except the terra cottta, and tan (forgot name) scare me. This is a 1982 SC. What WAS the original buyer thinking?

    If the car is white then this would look VERY cool today. White is becoming the new black. And that interior color would look very cool. Black carpets and an exterior colored center console and you're all set. Perfect!
