    No I don't, that's why I gotta see it!
    Good point Rossi.
Blue int IMHO fit perfectly light grey cars (arctic, polar, GT, etc.) and Blue of course.
But because Seal is neither light nor dark, I thought, maybe, just maybe... But it's hard to find pics.

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

Fanch i think blue interior and roof would look cool with seal grey

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

    Thanks for the pic Robbo!
Well, it is definitely very blue! Nice looking though.
Although personally, would be too close to my car I think.
    My current combo is
Polar grey/ Metropole top, Metropole Int.
So might as well change for a real change.
Thanks for the pic, that's exactly what I was looking for!!!

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

Thats ok matey, have you thought about seal, cocoa then with a brown roof Would look class

Yes I have thought about it, Ron posted a picture of it, and it had painted rims which is fantastic.
But somehow, I think this combo would be more classy than sporty.
Cocoa is very nice, but a bit too classic, we'll see.
And from what I've seen on pics, it looks like the leather had stains all over it, I think it's the way it's meant to be though.

Always thought I'd go for something dark after my light colored actual car.
I know it's a safe choice but with triple black, you can't be wrong.
A couple of the Brit Rennteamers have posted their cars on the Boxster Forum, I think they're both triple black and they look sweet!

Cheers Robbo and better luck next year for the 6 nations!
Can't wait for Ireland/ Wales but I think Ireland will walk all over them...
    But first Ireland-France! Haha!!!

The car's mine, and the picture was already posted when I got the car last fall--sorry to those who've seen it already. Unfortunately, the car's been in the garage all winter. Can't wait for spring. More pictures at this thread if you're interested.

Booger..Thanks for the great photos and the link, I hadn't seen them before! Great Autumn colours. My Seal Grey 997S should be here this time next week!!

What interior colour does fit best to seal grey in your opinion? Only from the standard colours, not willing to pay extra for individual ones and IMO they're also not better than standard.
Black, sea blue or even dark green (never seen that one)?
Stone grey and sand are too light for me, get dirty much too quickly.

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

Well i think black looks best with seal which is why i chose it

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

I chose seal grey/ocean blue and just saw car at dealer yesterday - looks great although not prepared yet. Unfortunately I am travelling this week and cannot collect until Sunday.

    Rossi,
With Seal, I think the best int are Black or stone grey.
As Robbo pointed out, try Sea blue too, although from what I've seen of the picture, it's a more flamboyant blue than Metropole blue.

And what do you think about cocoa? I'v just seen it's only a price difference of 350 Eur, not as much as I thought (and as in case of the the individual exterior colour).

As I wrote before, I'm yet to see it in person.
From the pics, it looks very nice. But it depends on what you want also.
Although it was first introduced in the Carrera GT, I personally think that it is more classy than sporty.
I think it's the kind of color I would be extremely happy with for like the first few months, but because it is not mainstream, I could get bored of it. Not sure though.
It depends on the driver's personality maybe but I think it's nice for a classy color, a bit like wood interior see?
I'm not 30 yet so I have all the time in the world to move on to classy interior cars.
For now, although it couldn't be more boring as a choice, I'd maybe go with triple black for a 997 Cab with as much alu design inserts as possible in the inside.
Look at Nighthawk's car interior, the door insers are very nice!

I saw seal grey - cocoa for the first time in real today. And I have to admit, it looked good! Well, I always thought that about the seal grey, but wasn't a big fan of the cocoa. But all pics I've seen so far, didn't do the cocoa justice, now that I've seen it I can tell you, they all appear much too light and the contrast brown-black appears much stronger as it really is. When you see it, it appears dark and brown, yet the black spots give it something different. Very nice indeed.
And since the seal grey has a little brownish touch in it, I think these two colours go together well.

Best pic of cocoa is this one from TomasoBR:

This is how it really looks like!

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

Shouldn't that water bottle be in the hi-tech cupholder?

    Congrats!

Maybe it's MaxErnst's car. His trunk would be full of spare wheel.

By the way, where is Max Ernst?

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

Look forward to the pics - exactly what I have ordered too - Seal Grey with Ocean Blue Int.

    couple more Cocoa...

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

    passenger door

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

Blimey - cocoa looks awesome. I nearly went for that with my slate grey, but as both were extra price options I just could not justify - esp as I would never see it on resale.

Well, you're right about the extra costs for the slate grey, but cocoa compared to standard full leather is not that much, so enough arguments to justify it...

Re: Seal Gray or Slate Gray

    My $.02:

Seal grey is infinitely richer and more complex than slate. As has already been pointed out, seal has different hues mixed in with the grey and actuall takes on different looks in different lighting. (This is similar to Meridien metallic, which can look gorgeous, but also suffers from looking pink at times - not a problem with Seal). Slate grey looks like a very dull grey to me - the comparison with battleship grey was not inappropriate.

The best interior to match? Black with deviated red stitching and red seatbelts. And grey or black instrument dials - none of that cheesy white stuff.
