    The hunt for a RHD GT3 Touring

    I'm trying to source a RHD Touring for a friend of mine in London. Me being the 'expert' in cars, I was sure to find him a nice example in a matter of weeks, but now it turns out there's only 43 or so UK Tourings. Smiley

    If anyone has any leads (the one on Pistonheads is not nicely specced in my opinion). It can also be a Japanese car for example, if that broadens the choice. Alternatively I told him to get on the list for the 992 Touring, but I assume UK dealers will play that unobtanium game again?

    That’s a real shame, up until last week there was a white one at our local Porsche Centre (Portsmouth), been there for weeks - now gone! They were asking £185k for it. I can ask the dealer principal who I’ve got to know to keep his eye open for one if you wish.

    Unbelievable, don't understand why it has to be that way in UK. 

    I do remember that back in the past, member Easy-Rider ordered his RHD 997 from a German dealer. You might want to check if it is still valid to order a 992 from a dealer outside of GB with the regional code from a RHD country.

    Spoke to Andy, seems a top bloke, think it might work out. It just has the sofas in it, which is a bit of a shame in a GT3 imo. Guess swapping for buckets is not too complicated.

    Is the car actually for use in the UK? Could also order a RHD 992 from another country with better allocations.
