    Cayenne European Delivery

    Anyone know the upcharge on a Cayenne for European delivery? Also is this negotiable so I could get it for the same price as one delivered in the U.S.? Lastly does the dealer make any money on the sale? Thanks

    I think the arrangements are going to be made through your dealer. Give them a call and ask for details.

    I took European delivery on my Cayenne Turbo back in June 2004 with the US Grand Delivery Tour and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it... the charge for this is about $4100... plus the $15,000 VAT deposit for Cayenne Turbo (for Cayenne and Cayenne S the VAT deposit would be less). The charge you can likely get your dealer to eat as a leverage to sell you the car... but the VAT deposit you can't get around...

    Most dealers have NEVER done a European Delivery... my dealer had done a few before, but still the paperwork can be tricky for most (don't know why)

    If you're willing to hold off for one of the Grand Tour group dates, you will get the maximum experience... complete with Factory Tour, On-track and Off-Road training at the Leipzig Plant, a great lunch at the factory and a great tour and dinner in Leipzig... plus hotel accomodations... and you'll get to meet Gabriella McFarlane... she's a total doll...
