Now, jokes aside, I have a strong feeling that the 997TT will have a lot of features borrowed the 959..Both mechanical and aesthetic.
What do you guys think?

I hope not. That 959 pic is as dated to me today as gazing at similar period pics of a 944 or 928 . About as current as Culture Club or Cindy Lauper .

Dear MKW,
I beg to differ. I still believe that 959 is the best looking Porsche ever

what is this based on? just because they both have rounded lights doesn't mean it'll look or borrow design from 959. i think that just ur thought.

I've seen 959s in person , the rear end is so wide and extended that you'd expect a rumble seat to flip out. Porsche has been extracting the stling " DNA " for awhile from that car - elements of the front end seen on the 964/993/997 , rear slats on the 996 Turbo , wheels on the 968 and 964 , etc. Like I said, I'm not fond of it's style but I'm aware I'm in the minority . But even if it were attractive to me for back in it's era - that was 18 years ago. I don't see many other marques' devotees pining for their next car to look like something from back then.
