    Installed the rear spacers on my Turbo

    just installed the 17mm spacers on my cayenne it cost me about 220 USD, the dealer didnt charge me for installation.

    In other words :
    Anyone can now remove your rear wheels because you no longer have the security bolts.
    Right?

    Sorry, but I find this is unacceptable being Porsche spacers.

    I am not sure about that, We dont have people stealing rims here thank god

    1. unfortunately this is true, not theft protection bolts with the wheel spacers
    2. have you ever tried to carry a Cayenne 20'' wheel?
    3. no problem of wheel theft in Germany, don't know about other regions
    4. a solution might be available later on

    Fireo: would you please post a picture showing your car from the rear to be able to judge how the wheels look now from behind? Also would you please comment on any changes in driving/handling behaviour? Thanks.

    I highly doubt this.
    Since a couple years, every Turbo/C4S ordered with the Sport Techno's is delivered with the 17mm spacers on the rear axle these also come without security nuts .

    This is the reason why there might be a solution sooner or later.

    i ordered the spacers kit this morning at my dealer..

    can't wait to have them..

    Big problem in London, unfortunately. We and around 5 others that I know of had the wheels stolen despite having security bolts on them

    security bolts really don't do anything except deter the most puerile amateurs.

    professional wheel theives stalk the target, and come with all the right tools.
