Porsche-Jeck:Talking about exhaust: the marketing language acrobats did create a new word - « heckteilfeste Doppelendrohre » No translation into english so far..... language obviously refers to the fact that the seemingly exhaust tips just are holes in the bodywork and not directly connected to the exhaust system.
Those fake tips look really weird.
The term "heckteilfeste Endrohre" was already used for the exhaust tips of the GT2 RS, but on the 992 they look really cheap. There's a long video from "Autogefühl" about the new 992. They also mention the BRAUN shaver in the interior, quite funny. Also did you know, the weird third brake light should be reminiscent of the "11" from "911". Good that we know that too...
Here's the video (the tips are shown at 4:30):

Excellent looking new 992. I love the new interior (might be the only one). I hardly believe that the mid-air-vents work well, but maybe they keep your balls chill?.
Other than that, since a long time I'm tickled by the 911 again. Even so - it is just a nice looking 911, it's probably the nicest of all.

I like the interior very much too. Very up to date with something from the air cooled dashboard.
I wish they modernized the exterior more. There is something fresh to the rear although for this price range the bare black plastic should have been painted in a black or dark grey colour (see BMW M and AMG).
The front is too samey with 991 even 997 in spite of the subtle changes. The Porsche design studio could have used more imagination. If the transition from 964 to 993 was 5/5 and from 996 to 997 4/5, this 991 to 992 is 3/5 IMO.
Another point is that the driver cannot use the stick to change gears. Given that the Porsche paddles are not fixed but they move with the wheel I find that on tight corners/hairpins using the stick is very useful.
Overall my score for the 992 styling is 85% outside and 97% inside.
