    yes they are.
    These wheels are one of the nicest stock-rims you can get on a hatchback.

    A bit lazy of VW's designers if you ask me. Can't understand why it doesn't get the cleaner/tourqier VAG 2.0T engine with valvelift. That would make it much more attractive to company car drivers in the UK where we are taxed based on emissions. I think I'll be replacing my mkV GTi with a Scirocco rather than a mk6.

    Valvelift engine from A4/A5 2.0TFSI is little bit too big for transversal FWD layout in Golf or Scirocco. Do not forget that Valvelift engine is chain driven and Golf VI GTI/Scirocco engine is belt driven... But, both belong to new 888 generation...

    There wont be any Golf VI with VR6 engine(either R32 or R36). There are two options-lower power 2.5L TFSI R5 with 300hp from future Audi TTR or 2.1L TFSI R4 with 280hp. Both as AWD of course...

    2.1L? That is a brand new engine? Why aren't they just using the S3/TTS 2.0 TFSI? Sounds like the same power output anyway. I would like to see the TTR engine in a AWD Golf though. I would buy one!

    As Kreso wrote,all car brands are going to downsizing engines..so we will see a lot of turbo engine in future cars...

    I don't like the new Scirocco. It may be a nice car with good performance but, regarding its looks, it's just a glorified hatchback. The old Scirocco (and Corrado) were genuine coupes that were more attractive to look at IMO.

    The new Scirocco looks like VW's (boring) answer to the Alfa Romeo Brera...

    I have just read the press release, and apparently this pics are just the concept! So hopefully the official version will come with "NEW" wheels. Other then that, I love it, its perfect.

    Maybe it will come with the BBS CH wheels which the spy mules were caught testing with:

    (VW has apparently adopted the Porsche update philosophy now that they been taken over by Kaizer Wiedking - Do as little as possible)

    The inside of the wheels are now painted black, can't you tell?

    But you know what? I like this minimal update look. I might get one as well if the missus likes it. She was very attached to her MkV GTI and was upset at me when I sold it.
