    Enzo's lighter and has more Hp. Not surprising.
    But for the 2-3 car lengths lead, I think I'll keep the $600K price difference and put that into building up the LP

    But in 20 years the LP640 won't be worth what you put into it. The prices will fall while the Enzo's will probably go up in value.

    I'm not sure that will be the case though. In 20 years there will be three hypercars from Ferrari : F70, F80, F90.

    I don't see today's prices of F40 and F50 reflect them as outstanding investments..

    This might have been the case in the old era where information exchange in spotting a rare car is like in the stone age compared to today where Enzo's are being sold at eBay..

    In 20 years, I do not see anyone paying more for an F40, F50, F60, F70, F80 more than a then-brand new F90.

    I think older cars have become classics today because for example the Merc Gullwings and Ferrari 250 Californias of the '50s-'60s were being used as everyday cars, resulting in the very few of them in mint condition today.

    But with almost all hypercars are being kept as garage queens today, I doubt in 20 years they will be in auctions selling for unreal prices..

    But in 20 years, I have no doubt that a Merc 300SL Gullwing, Ferrari California, Jag E-type, aston DB5 will still be classics exchanging hands for millions and millions.

    But somehow I do not see it happening with today's supercars..IMHO

    Yeah, a question worth couple mil,
    What makes a classic ?
    And you won't find an easy answer,
    just because a car is rare, doesn't make it worth a million or two.
    You do not see it happening with today's supercars
    Why ?
    In the Gullwing era, folks were saying the same story about that Merc, and check the price tag today

    I kind of expected that outcome, the LP is a pig! I was suprised that the gap did not get bigger, it kind of opened up a gap and stayed that way. Gooo LP

    I think McLaren F1 is an exception because of its' capability, coolness, and rarity. And maybe veyron for novelty.

    IMHO, I don't think the Enzo is going to be one of those "classic" supercars. People have always felt luke-warm about it's styling and, although remarkable fast and agile, it didn't really set any new benchmarks.

    Hell, the new "base" model Ferrari beats it around the track. And it has 4 cyclinders less, non active aero, less HP, and cost about $500 less too.

    I don't think in that era where too many classics and you should be quite old to know what they where talking then... sorry no harm intended....
