Help... Cayenne GTS !!

Hi guys,

I have a 997 Turbo and thinking of getting a 4x4 insted to be more practical in terms of daily use, comfort, and space in the car since i have 2 kids.

I realy like the new GTS but does it worth getting one? specially that I cant get one from Agency in my country where a waitting list is there for like a year or so! So I have to get one over price a littile or a used one in new price :S

2nd point that the Cayenne is getting a total change in 2010 as i heared..... any other optiins?? just wanted to get some more idea's about my decision

go for the GTS - it has such a useable powerband, although if you are in a land of no speed limits, the CTT would be pretty serious comp.

the manula is great fun and you still have an SUV. who cares about 2010 - i bet the car gets wrecked a bit bieng forced to swallow compromises to the economy.

Hi Sir,

GTS is a fantastic car however year waiting list is not fun (I had to wait on mine for 5 months what was a struggle to say the least).

The Cayenne S is a fantastic car to drive and I really enjoyed her however if you are considering a GTS prior to the CS, why not going for the CTT. If you spec her moderately she will be as good (and non biast me would say far better, hi hi hi)

A fully agree with CPA4S it is foolish to defer your decision because the Cayenne Mark II is coming out (according to the forums, nothing is definite)

The CS is a great car however the CTT's power is unbelievable and probably comes closest to your 977 turbo.

PS did you try Sata in Muscat Oman, maybe they have a GTS?

GTS, it is value for money. The horsepower comes smoothly whenever you need it. The sound of sport exhaust is just another world. Don't settle with a S!

GTS is amazing SUV but don't go offraod in it.. it's more of a road going SUV.

If i were you i would not wait for the 2010 Cayenne II because it'll be far far away 2011 or something. You like the GTS, now your problem where to get one!!

Well, Thanks guys for the input. I found a White GTS with beige interior 0 Milage, 2008 model for AED 30,000 above its price.. 1 USD = 3.674 AED
I think I will be finalizing the deal by tomorow, only if some one here convinced me with something else! lol

Mark, I've tried Muscat and KSA, the both have a waitting of 5-6 months at least!

What options and what's the total price?

I'm still waiting for my GTS in KSA - ordered in April expected delivery was Oct delayed to Nov now and they might have messed up my order as well. I opted for the standard steel suspension. They say I'm getting both Air Suspension and steel Suspension (The first GTS in the world to have it, hehe).. I think they are confusing PASM in the deal.. I guess I'll have to wait to find out. Good luck.

not sure about the suspention, but its with Panoramic roof, rear Cam beside some other options of course... starting price here is like 270 k but with those options it will come up to 345 k at least... its a bit cheaper there in KSA.

Not bad if with Panaromic Roof and the other extras. Probably would come up to about the same - perhaps 10k less or so in KSA.
