That's what I wanted to say. Difference in the dark may not be that dramatic, but the dual lights give the front of the car quite a different look (depends on you if you like it).

The car I testdrove for one weekend didn't have the new option. Here's a pic of its front lights:

FWIW, here's how BMW's system works. Maybe assume Porsche's is very similar? Judge for yourself if there's a significant safety enhancement.
IMO, any costly Porsche option which improves _safety_ is worth it. Sorry to put it this way but: How much would you pay to go back in time if you hit a deer or worse?

Exactly with the Xenon lights on the 911 i have found these to have minimal benefit for the cost. Better extras to spend the money on !!!

It's fun to blow money. Get the lights, enjoy the gadgets. Just stay away from choosing options which make the interior look like a cluttered window display for small appliances at Neiman Marcus.
