Optimum No Rinse - waterless (no spray) car wash
There's been some interest on 'waterless' car wash. The spray car wash from Griot's is OK but it's not very different from a quick detailer product and should only be used on a lightly dusty car.
The product that detailers use and is safe is Optimum No Rinse.
It's a concentrate that you add (2 bottle caps) to 1 gallon of water and apply with a dripping cloth or sponge. The material has high lubricity to protect the paint and really removes dirt like a shampoo. It is very easy to use (see demo VIDEO. It works well and yes, that's how I wash my cars - no scratches, a smooth clean surface, and a very fast process.
